Welcome to WhatsAppening! These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the WhatsAppening application (“App”) and services provided by WhatsAppening (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from using the App.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using WhatsAppening, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions, as well as our Privacy Policy. We may update these Terms periodically, and your continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Eligibility

To use WhatsAppening, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • Provide accurate and truthful information during account registration.
  • Not be legally prohibited from using our services under any applicable laws.

3. Account Registration & Verification

  • Users must create an account using a valid email and phone number.
  • Account verification requires submitting a live video for identity confirmation.
  • A verified badge is granted upon successful verification.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.

4. User Conduct

Users must adhere to the following:

  • Engage in respectful and appropriate interactions with other users.
  • Do not impersonate others, misrepresent your identity, or provide false information.
  • Do not engage in harassment, hate speech, or illegal activities.
  • Do not share explicit content, spam, or solicit users for commercial purposes.
  • Do not attempt to hack, scrape, or manipulate the platform's functionality.

Failure to comply may result in account suspension or termination.

5. Privacy & Data Protection

  • We collect, store, and process user data as described in our Privacy Policy.
  • Users have control over privacy settings, including location sharing and profile visibility.
  • We do not share personal information with third parties without user consent, except as required by law.

6. Matchmaking & Chat Functionalities

  • Users can only communicate when both are online and have mutually accepted requests.
  • Chat messages may be deleted when a user goes offline, unless a Link request has been accepted.
  • Message requests must be accepted before initiating a conversation with a non-linked user.

7. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for fraudulent purposes.
  • Share offensive or illegal content.
  • Violate the intellectual property rights of WhatsAppening or other users.
  • Use bots, automation, or unauthorized software to access or manipulate the App.

8. Account Termination & Suspension

We reserve the right to:

  • Suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
  • Remove content that violates our policies.
  • Take legal action against unlawful activities within the App.
  • Users may delete their accounts through the App settings.

9. Limitation of Liability

WhatsAppening provides services "as is" without warranties. We do not guarantee:

  • Uninterrupted, error-free functionality.
  • Perfect security of user data.
  • Success in establishing connections through the App.

We are not liable for any damages resulting from your use of WhatsAppening.

10. Intellectual Property

WhatsAppening and its associated content (logos, trademarks, software) are the exclusive property of the Company. Users may not copy, modify, distribute, or exploit any part of the App without prior permission.

11. Third-Party Services & Links

WhatsAppening may contain links to third-party services. We are not responsible for external content, privacy policies, or user interactions outside our platform.

12. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes shall be resolved through arbitration or mediation before resorting to litigation. These Terms are governed by Spanish laws.

13. Amendments & Updates

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes through the App or via email.
